Nonus - Nebulae EP
DMP003 - Drummond Plus - 2013 - Digital

Bjerk Peterson and Jorge Camacho, originally from Tijuana and Miami respectively, began making music in Monterrey, Mexico. Influenced by the undeground music scene, compositions slowly surfaced with sounds inspired by afrocuban music, jazz and experimental minimalism. Driving basslines, broken beats and haunting melodies are quickly becoming the dominant sound for Nonus.
Thousands of little spotlights wandering in the sky, waiting for the mothership which, approaching to the ocean surface, let them enter in its giant metal belly; inside there is a swarm of frenetic activity, an organized chaos. Rockets are igniting, destination? The big unknown
At nightfall a moth flies, at times nervous, harmonious at times, near a light bulb, trying to avoid the mortal attacks by geckos; at dawn she, exhausted, ecstatic and dazzled, whisk again her wings, on the ground, moving at decreasing rate her paws and antennae.
Landscape goes away very fast from the moving train in the desertdotted by electricity pylons, but a series of strange mountains, high andnarrow, follow one another like in a loop: is it a real trip? Is it a dream? Why we are on this train?
Thousands of little spotlights wandering in the sky, waiting for the mothership which, approaching to the ocean surface, let them enter in its giant metal belly; inside there is a swarm of frenetic activity, an organized chaos. Rockets are igniting, destination? The big unknown
